Question about Lexmark All-in-One Printer with PictBridge
I have had the same problem when I went to redo my Windows Vista Machine. The answer is simple. Install the software from the installation disc that came with your printer. Next go to lexmark.com and download the driver package for your printer and install that. Now a window should pop up asking you if you want to install over the original or make a copy, MAKE A COPY.. After installation is done open lexmark studio and pick to open the copy version and there you go, you can now use your lexmark studio, and for some reason after you open the program once like this the original one works!!!!!!!!

I've faced the same problem, Imaging Studio and the other supporting applications need at least Dotnet FX 2.0 to be installed. What I did is to uninstall X2500 drivers and all the previous installation of the Lexmarks applications on the CD driver, then I've Dotnet and at the end I've reinstalled drivers and support applications (Imaging Studio too) and now all works perfectly!

I have tryed to down laod the hardedrive but an erro 23win did not re spond or it will not late me down load it . the computer is not committeing with the printer

I downloaded the new ad-aware 2007 (I already had ad-aware-se) and ran a full scan and it caught something when it scanned lexmark.
When I went to run lexmark again it worked fine. Hope it works for yall as easy as it did for me.

Unload the programme from your computer. Clean the Lexmark Disc.Insert the disc again. It worked for Me. Best of Luck. Kirkie.

We have a friend that is having the same problem. Have you guys tried going to the lexmark site to download windows vista updated drivers? I am going to ask him the same question. If not, possibly going to: http://support.lexmark.com/static/229-1-0-590.html
and downloading the most current drivers.. it might fix the problem since it IS a compatibility problem with Windows Vista.

Your best option at this point will be to uninstall the Lexmark Software and reinstall it using the CD. If you do not have the CD available then you can go to Lexmark.com, go to Downloads then select your printer model and then go to available downloads there you will be able to find the newest driver along with the imaging studio.
