I have 1952 ford 8n and will run 5 minutes then start missing and hesitating could the coil be getting hot? Its 6 volt coil with internal resistor but tractor was converted to 12 volt.

try replacing the coil with a straight 12 volt coil and not a resistance coil as the missing could be from a overheated coil
if the coil is at fault then when the engine starts to miss then then coil would be hot to the touch

How to fix twin tech harley coil 1005

Do you mean the coil (as you stated), or the ignition module?
1005 is the model number for the Daytona Twin-Tec ignition system.
Has it ran before, and just started not running right?I have this system on one of my bikes. One day, it just started running on one cylinder, and it was a bad unit, NOT the coil!Heat is the biggest killer for these.
These units are designed for using a VOES switch.
Also, on the unit is 4 rotary switches. The "MODE" switch MUST coincide to if you are running a single or double fire ignition!

The engine will not run if the mode switch setting does not match the wiring hookup (i.e. you cannot select single fire mode with a dual fire coil hookup).

Help with hookup

I am assuming you are driving a sub-woofer. Run the amp bridged at 4 ohms. So a DVC(dual voice coil) 8 ohm sub with voice coils wired in parallel would give you a 4 ohm load. Just make sure the sub can handle at least 300 Watts Peak.

I am looking for the location of the plugs on a 2000 mitsubhi mirage with a 1.8 litre engine

Are you referring to the SPARK plugs? The Mirage's 1.8 engine does not use standard spark plugs, because it is fuel injected. It uses 4 fuel injectors that has gas hookups & electrical hookups. They are located on the head in the back.

Engine missing, particularly in idle, or dies when turning

The intake gaskets leaking would cause the engine to have a misfire. Get a can of Brake Clean and spray in around the intake manifold on the top of the engine while the engine is running. The engine idle will go up or down if there is a leak. Also try swapping the spark plug with another spark plug to see if the misfire moves to another cylinder. If it moves then you have a bad spark plug. I hope this helps.
