I've had the same type of problems with my computer- and after many attempts to fix it by trying new parts & such..... What it ended up being was the fan- My boyfriend decided to just go ahead & take it apart himself and when he handed me fan compartment thingy- I felt so sad for my poor computer!! It was full of dustbunnies! It caused my computer to work doubletime as it was slowly choking to its doom and was slowly causing other hardware failure due to the lack of me maintaining it from the inside, rather than just the outside. The saddest part is that for my laptop- in order to get to where the fan is located, the whole laptop had to be taken apart to even clean it out. If it wasn't for my b.f. my computer would have choked a long time ago!!! Thank goodness It's running fine- im still on it as we speak. :) hope this helps!

A2 It feels like you when you've been in the sun for too long!

Q3 What else can happen?
A3 The fans will work overtime and will be unable to keep your computer at a safe temperature. The fans may be noisy, Your computer's electronics, processor and other parts will be under stress.

Q4 What happens if I don't do anything?
A4 Your computer will scream in agony and eventually die a painful death.

Q5 What should I do?
A5 Depending on how often you use your computer and the environment it's used in, the fans should be checked for dust build up at least every 4 or 5 months. Dust can be removed using a paint brush, vacuum cleaner and cotton buds.When you've finished, all the vents should be spotlessly clean, as should the fans.

Q6 Could I damage my computer when cleaning the fans?
A6 Technically, yes, but not if you take care. Be careful of static charges caused by friction if you use a vacuum cleaner. Static can damage some parts. If you take a few precautions you won't damage your prized possession!

Q8 How will I know if my cleaning has made a difference?
A8 Your computer will be quieter, cooler, and it will love you!

This model laptop has two fans and the 2nd fan switches on when the CPU gets too hot for one fan to handle. This is normal.
If you have a fan that has a noisy bearing, the fan can be replaced and so can the hinges.
You could have a faulty charging circuit that is not charging the battery amd or not recogonizing the new battery. This is not easily fixed as it is part of the motherboard.
