No advantage; no more power. P= I x E

Amperage times the voltage. If you increase the voltage the amperage will just go down .

    Can I change a 110volt drill to a 240volt drill

Yes.; You'll need a transformer. The very best sort of transformer is a site-transformer which takes an input of 240VAC and delivers 110V, but at 55V either side of ground.

    Conection 220volt in A 110VOLT

You've made a great mistake indeed. Contact any service technician. With some sets, there will be a protection fuse [over voltage protection]. If your set have been included this protection device, your luck. If not, you might have to replace the power supply section to this device.

Audio video control centre. digatal delayed surronds, model no str-d350z was plugged into wrong voltage, part burned out,can you help

You have not specified the make/model. But if you set is having the transformer as the case may be, and you have plugged into the 220volt with the 120 volt settting, then the transformer would have burned off. If so identify the secondary voltage of the DC cicuit and use a 220volt transformer to replace. If you are not able to identify multiple tappings then you must get the primary of the burned tranformer wound for 220volts. If at all this is aSMPS unit then you will need to replace the full unit as the ratings inthe power will be different.Since you have not specified details of voltage and ratings,I am not able to advice more. Hope you decide. Good day

Lights & oven don't work, burners do

If this is a 220volt unit make sure to reset both breakers in your electrical box. If it is a 110volt unit you may try reseting the board by unplugging it for ten minutes then plug it back in. Hope this works. There aren't any available repairs to the control center which would mean a new one! Thank You, Dana

The possibility is you fried both. I would start with the power cord first that woulde be the cheapest thing. If that does not correct the problem then I hate to tell you but your game system is toast. Please just kee in mind next time to check both your system and the outlet that you plug in to.
