Sometimes the paper tray or where the ink is may have somethng loged up in there, also try to disconnect the power for 10 seconds and plug back in.

Lexmark pro 700 continuous paperjam

Usually its either guide rollers or an obstruction of some sort. Might try find out if its an obstruction by simply looking around and seeing if there is a torn off piece of paper (usually) or something pooped off. If you are under warranty they will reset the guide rollers and clean the thing out. don't use it or try forcing anything. PS: I don't like Lexmarks and never have, but have repaired a few when collared by associates' pleas.

Says paper jam but NO paper is in the machine

One problem i found with those printers is that over time the casting around the paper tray is wearing off and printers starts to show paperjams when there is no paperjam.
One way to fix is try and positions the paper tray better or perhaps raising it a bit with piece of wood or paper.
Cast unfortenately is too expensive to replace so if this doesnt work and you are sure there is no paperjam and nothing obstructing the sensor then replace the printer.

Printer says there is a paperjam when there is none

It's possible that a little piece of paper tore off and is wedged all the way to the right, and is hidden by the print heads. I saw this happen on a 3210. I don't recall how to move the heads to the left side, and I don't have access to the on line docs, because I'm trying to solve a problem with the driver right now, but check instructions for print head replacement.

Kyocera paperjam

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

PaperJam

I found that the little plastic hinge guide that supports/aligns the scanning area with the printer (stage 4 on the internal paper jam problem) was misaligned. I just removed it and the printer now works OK

Sometimes just a teensy bit of paper stuck inside will make it say paperjam. I would check very well.
