My Rode NT1a stopped working. I checked preamps

Repair of this mic is not something you can do yourself. This sort of failure is common, and I can repair it.

I've had a Marshall MXL 2001 mic for seven or eight years, and it's worked without a problem. Yesterday, it stopped working. I opened it and don't see any loose wires. Where should I take it for repairs?

mics are very delicate . a lot bundled into a small area. If you are handy..take it apart. All you may be able to do is check for loose solder joints..mics are dropped, moved a lot so they go through a lot of physical stress. My last mic repair ended up being a bunch of loose solder connections. if not..if its of value to you..send it in. Trace Electronicss..Canada.

My rode just stopped working, any ideas. It's had a very easy life just home studio work and always put away in it's bag

Possible if used for close mic singing, moisture and spit can get to the capsule, which can eventually damage the capsule. Especially if it is always put away in it's bag after usage. Check your basic stuff like...mic cable, phantom power supply, channel on the console, anything obvious.

AKG Perception 200 Mic stopped working. I use it

The simple thing to check would be to see if your 48V phantom power switch on your mixer is turned on. Sometimes there is an individual button to turn it on and off for each channel strip. Good Luck

Microphone stopped working

Since it was working fine>Try to perform system restore >If that does not fixes the issue.
Check the Micro phone with the diff unit to check whether its healthy or not>If the mic working fine with the diff unit. It could be some thing with some settings.

If the Microphone not working on diff unit as well>OF course its an issue with MPhone

My mike just stopped working, dead?

The first thing to check is the phantom power. Make sure it is there. The mic will appear dead without the power present.
