Question about Sony ICD-P210 Digital Voice Recorder
I need to turn my IC Recorder off (ICD-P210). I don't want to place it on hold I want to turn it off completely without taking the bateries out (if possible)? There is no on/off button and I don't want to waste my batteries..Please help!
Yes. Putting it on hold and then pressing the stop button will turn off the recorder. You can turn it back on by taking it off hold. It is technically off even though when you press a button while it is off it tells you that it is on hold. Don't worry, your batteries are safe for now =).

First, make sure your lock button on the bottom of the right side is in the off (down) position. Then, if your unit works like mine, simply push the stop button twice to turn the unit off. You turn it back on by pushing the play button. Hope this works for you.
