Blower stalls When my blower begins to stall, I raise the nozzle 90 degrees in the air to keep it running. I repeat the process about once a minute. What is the fix?

Sounds to me you might be sucking air into the fuel line that's in the fuel tank...

I'd drain the tank, remove the fuel line and check it for hole...

Why does my leaf blower run for 10 minutes and stall when throttle is released. Idle is fine when I start it.

you might have a particaly clogged fuel filter,or sucking air at the carb to motor.

It stalls after running fine for 30-45 minutes

Hi James:
Thanks for providing an extremely detailed history.
My first reaction was similar to yours............ sounds like a fuel supply obstruction, but you seem to have covered it extremely well.
There are two other things you may consider checking.
1) When the stalling occurs, shut off the engine and pull the spark plug(s). Check the appearance of the electrode, wet indicates firing (spark) problem, dry indicates fuel delivery problem. While the engine is still hot, reconnect the plug lead, hold the plug against the head, then spin it over and check the spark. You're looking for hot and blue.
2) Exhaust obstruction. Remove the muffler and make sure that there is no carbon buildup or defective baffle that could be causing excessive back pressure.
If you reply as a comment to this post I'll get your feedback.

Honda gx 270 keeps stalling on a billy goat blower

Empty/clean out fuel tank. Remove bowl from carb and clean. Replace air filter. Replace spark plug, ensure gap is set correctly. Ensure choke is free to move.

My homelite will no longer stay running.

i would start at the muffler & pull it off ,,ck out the exhaust port where u just took the muffler off,,see if it is loaded up with carbon,,need to clean it out,,i find then in the trash,,& take them apart,,and most of the time its just that,,because u are using a gas & oil mix,,try it ,, hoped it helped,,

The engine on my Red Max EB7000 backpack leaf stalls or smothers.

Two things come to mind.
One, the tank cap is not allowing air into the fuel tank to replace the fuel that is going out. This results in a vacuum in the fuel tank until the pump can no longer **** fuel. Test this by running it with the cap loosened a little bit just to test it OR loosen the cap after it has stopped and see if it goes normally again.

If this doesn't do it, you have an air leak somewhere.
The common ones, in order of occurance, are as follows.

Between the carby and motor.

The crankshaft seal on the clutch side of the motor.
(clutch comes off with left hand thread)

The crankshaft seal under the flywheel, on the pull starter end.

I have had a spark plug leaking around it's gasket ring too, but that was a one of, and stumped everyone for a long time.
With the exception of the flywheel end, you can test with a can of starting fluid, spraying it into the areas mentioned until you get a change in behavior from the motor.
I the crank seals are gone, new seals will work for another period, but probably the bearings are getting loose and wearing the seals out.

Blower starts with a full tank of gas then stalls

The fuel cap has a rubber air bleed valve to allow air into the tank during running. My blower ran for about 5mins, then slowed down and stopped. When I opened the fuel cap, you can hear an air rush, indicating low pressure in the tank which starves the engine of fuel. Problem was solved by clearing the blockage in the cap.
