Question about Harman Kardon AVR 100
Harman Kardon AVR 40 was working just fine for quite a while, and then about 3 or 4 times in a row, when I switched to the audio channel that I wanted (CD or TV usually), a strange sound came through the speakers and then nothing. Now no strange sounds come through, and it does nothing at all.
I've tried all the inputs, all the speaker outputs, taken the cover off and vacuumed/blown the dust away, and tried to see if there were any obvious problems.
Any other ideas?
Check the fuses - there may be one inside the box as well. May also be a bad transformer. You can get a multi-meter at Home Depot and lookup how to check the power at the transformer.
