Question about Philips Televison & Video
I just bought a Philips portable DVD player PET 702. I put the disc in, turn on the player. First the screen says Loading.. and then is says No Disc. I can't seem to get beyond this level. Help!!!
HI, this will happen when the lens assembly is damaged and it will need to be replaced. you can confirm by using a lens cleaner. If the system starts to read as normal after cleaning the lens with a cleaning disc, the problem will be solved but, if the problem still exist after the cleansing, you will need to replace the lens assembly. it has failed.
Most of the time, the load motor will fail and this is a integrate part of the Assembly in most cases.
