Mouse is not working it will not move at all,don't know what's wrong
Wanting to get into the BIOS on my ACER ASPIRE 5315 Laptop,could you please help,my mouse on my laptop is not working so I'm thinking its too do with the BIOS I am not sure.

I could not find the icon with the mouse on it while pressing the fn key as (benwabnick) has suggested,thanks for your help. Before going into the BIOS, go into windows and after you get in there, hold down the FN key while pressing the key that has the mouse icon on it and see if that enables the mousepad again.

Hey in the control panel, go to the mouse, then look for the properties that have a PS/2 compatible mouse, you can change its settings there by sellecting other compatible mouse instead of PS/2, and also there is a settings or a check box that says the onboard mouse of your laptop will be disable if a usb mouse will be pluged.hope it soved your problem, :)
Plug in a USB mouse, and go to Contol Panel>system>device manager and click on the +sign next to pointing devices. Right click touchpad and uninstall the touchpad, then reboot the computer, remove the usb mouse. Windows will pick up the touchpad as new hardware and re-install the drivers for it etc..
