Unfortunately, the current version of the iPhone firmware that is in handsets in most stores now does not support MMS.
Solution 1: Your network operator should enable internet access on the handset, and allow MMS messages to be visable via the internet on the handset, rather than being delivered to the handset.
Solution 2:
Check here: http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2009/04/how_to_enable_mms_in_iphone_30_right_now-2.html
This is a bit of a hack, and I believe it requires iphone 3.0 to work.
Best of luck!

I cant view mms from my phone samsung chat 335

with an MMS-enabled phone you can:
Take digital photographs and store photographs on the Internet Send and receive full colour pictures Send and receive voice clips Add a text message to your picture Purchase pictures and sounds from the Internet Have enhanced polyphonic ringtones
MMS runs over GPRS. You normally need to subscribe to a GPRS tariff, and have 'Media Messaging' enabled by your network operator. You will need a phone handset that supports the MMS service - If you receive an MMS message and don't have a suitable handset or GPRS service, you'll receive a standard SMS text message, and will be able to view the message at the web address included with the text message.

I have nokia 3110. i can't open mms. plz tell me what can i do,

Hi, issues like this are related to your Sim card (network),
not your Cell Phone . In most cases, regarding the mms messages,
the problem is from the Service Operator.

If you can't receive mms messages even when it's inserted on another handset,
then you will need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell
them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

You can check the message center number, but I don't think
it's very much important in your case, well, if you wanna try,
just check the mms text message settings and verify that the mms message
center number (which is currently in use) is the same number which
is on another phone with the same network (the other Sim should be
of the same network in your area). If it's different, make the changes
and save the settings. Also disable the "Receive Via" or similar settings..
(I can't recollect the exact settings as i don't have the same model with
me, please excuse me for this.).

If the same Sim card doesn't receive mms text messages using another handset,
don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it,
first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for using fixya.......

How can i receive and send MMS to GT-S5233W? I don't know how to network mms on my phone.

The MMS service need to be set first.
The settings of MMS messages are provided by your SERVICE PROVIDER
Call your SERVICE PROVIDER,ask them send you the MMS settings of your mobile
After you receive them (they will be sent to your mobile as a text message) save them an run.
Then turn your mobile off for 3 minutes, then turn on.
Now the MMS service in your mobile is active.

Samsung Mobile Phone;Model SGH-i200 will not retrieve incoming mms photos and will not send photos attached to sms (says I need to set up profile??) Thanks

It's one of two things. 1: the programing in your phone might be messed up, so you may have to take it into your provider store. Odds are though there won't be anyone smart enough to do anything about it (even though they do have the capabilities), so you might have to send it to the manufacturer. 2: Most likely your provider has blocked your internet service. Most smart phones can't send or receive MMS's if the subscriber decides to cancel there internet services. I think it's just a way to get you to pay for something you don't want. Non smart phones (that don't even have internet capabilities) are able to send and receive MMS's without having to pay for internet service at all, unfortunately most phones now are smart phone based even if they're not called as such. You don't have to get a plan for internet service, but you will end up paying for each kb you use to send and receive each MMS. If you do send and receive a lot of them you might actually be better of getting an internet plan. Ether way it sucks that we have to pay twice. I mean if we pay to send why does the other person have to pay to receive? Isn't it already payed for? Even when it's physical we don't pay to receive a package as well.

Late receiver

HI

I don't think so, because there are lot of factors why your phone receives late text messages, one is coverage of the service provider and outage. try using sim card on a different phone and then check if its doing the same thing. one factor is if your phone can't pickup that good signal then chances are message will come in late, try texting your own mobile number using the 11 digit dialing patern or put 1 before your number.

hope this helps
