Question about RCA Audio Players & Recorders
Hello, I have a RCA Home Theater Model P46725sk that was made in 06-95. While watching it, it made a "snap" sound & powered off. Now it will not power back on and I can hear a very faint clicking sound when pushing the power button. I presume the power supply has went bad. Can you please provide the part number and where to obtain this part. I do want to repair this unit.Thank you.Todd K.

SOURCE: Not powering on
1. The power cord is not completely insered. 2. the impedance selector switch on the rear panel is not fully set to the upper or lower end - (set it when the unit is in the standby mode) other then that, you will have to call for a service.

Do you have a DVD in the player? If an incompatible region code disc was left in the player upon shutdown, it will cause your particular system to lockup. Your unit has a 1 year warranty, and you can easily obtain over the phone help from RCA by calling 580-634-0366 and have your unit?s date of purchase and model/serial number ready. The model/serial number information is on the back of your unit. During your phone call the Technician will determine if you should receive a replacement unit, and if so, will provide you all of the relavent information and a Service Request Number for your tracking convenience. Keep this SR# permanently so you can cite your history should future problems arise, also, a helpful tip is should you utilize a Passcode for your system and forget it, the Master Passcode is 9688.

SOURCE: Unit will not turn on.
Take the cover off and check both fan connections. I did this and it turned out to be a loose connection causing the F61 error. Also, check to see if the fans move even just a bit when you turn the unit on. If only one moves then you may have a burnt fan, if neither move you have a major problem. If they both move continue checking connections, loose solders etc. If all else fails, but a new one.

Is there a pattern to the blinking? This may be blinking an error code that is indicating the nature of the problem. count how many times it blinks, and wether you hear any sounds such as clicking.
