What size staples fit this gun do yoju know any suppliers in scotland??thank you in advance

On the side of the staple gun, normally on the chrome shinny part, there is a number like 24/6. This tells you what size staple you need to purchase. look for the same number on the box in the shop. If its not exactly it wont work.

The 1/4" staples i bought are too large (?) For my new TR110. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to buy a smaller size?

You are probably buying the wrong staples for your unit. Check the instructions for the type of staples it uses or make sure the staple package states they are compatible with your unit..

Where do I find staples for the above Ace 2025 staples?

Most staple guns accept a range of staples of a standard type available from many different suppliers. It is rare that a staple should be manufactured for the exclusive use of a single staple gun.

First you need to know the sort of staple you need. Unfortunately staple gun manufacturers tend to omit this information from their literature and instead use the part number they have allocated rather than the more universal information of type and size.

Fortunately many nail and staple suppliers catalogues contain useful drawings with sizes so identifying any staple, once it has been very carefully measured, fairly simple.

What size staples does the B&G Powershot staple gun use? I bought a refill pack 3/8" & 5/16" long. They fit but the shank when pulled out and loaded with staples won't close. Thank you. Julia Carr

Hi Julia,

You have the right size staples. The problem is the length of the refills. Some staplers can't accommodate a full length clip.

Break the staple refill clip in half, then insert it. The shank will be able to close and latch that way.

Best regards
Mike

Problem loading gun..Where do we put in the staples and change the dial to accomodate it? fred

The staples should load in through the end of the hammer stapler. The end is spring loaded to push the staples forward, so push the end - usually a crome square - into the handle end then move that part up approximately 1/4 inch and pull back. The spring mechanism should slide out so you can add new staples. These staplers take a specific size of staple and a certain number to allow you to put the spring mechanism back into the stapler. If you do not know the correct size for your stapler someone at your local hardware store can help you find the correct size and they will probably even show you how to load it. Good luck!
