Cartridge may be defective.
take the cartridge out and put it back in to your printer.
turn the printer on and off.
if the cartridge is still not recognized by your printer, call epson, i believe they will replace the defective cartridge.

My kodak esp 6150 prints blank pages. I bought new ink and new print head and still prints and copies blank. Kodak support says I need new printer but there has to be a way to fix it. It was fine one day...

if u can't clean the print head and there is ink in the cartridge, then a new printer is in the plan.
try cleaning head by placing a pad soaked in alcohol (not Tequila) on the head for a while then gently wiping it clean. If u can remove other parts that r full of ink to clean them do that - careful that ink will get everywhere.

Printer says allignment is off and I need to remove tape from Black ink but there is no tape on black ink, bought new cartridge even though I did not need one and still says same thing

If you're still experiencing the same problem even with a new cartridge, it could be your printer itself that is the problem. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

If you aren't currently, use the cartridge that the printer's manual says is for photos. Photo paper requires a different kind of ink.

Can't use my original ink # 363

Actually you cannot use your # 363 ink on your photosmart c6180. The ink is not compatible with the printer. Photosmart c6180 only uses HP02 vivera inks. And there is no way that you can reconfigure it because it is factory default. Unless you bought an HP02 ink from other country outside US and bought the printer in US, that's the only time that we can reconfigure the regionalization of the printer

New out of box!!

If you already have tried reseating all of the inks and and inks are still not recognized, Please contact Epson tech support for a replacement ink or if they find out after some diagnostics that it is the printer that is having an issue they would be replacing your printer.
