Watch battery

Hi Jason,
About 70 percent of watches take 377 batteries but there is no way to know until you pop the back off. If you take a picture of the back i can instruct you how to get it off. thank you ! Lisa

How to take oft the back of a helbros watch

dont know much about helbros but if the back doesnt have a slot to use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the back, take it to a jeweler. if you try it yourself you may scratch the back really bad.

Guess watch how to take back off to change battery

You must first determine if the watch has a screw down back or snap off back. The top picture is a scre down back and the bottom is a snap off. If it is a screw down back you will need a watch case back opener to open. If is is a snap off you need to look around the back and find the little notch. you can then take something like a butter knife insert the edge between the case back and the case and snap the back off.

I have replaced the battery in my Indiglo watch, however, I can not get the back cover back on the watch. Do I need to take it to a jeweler to get it back on or what?

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
Yes,, you can take to a local jeweler. They should have a watch press to press the back on.
Best regards. Jewel

Have opened Timex Indiglo watch and replaced the battery. However, I can not repace the metal back on the watch. Is there a trick?

Was it a back that you "pop" off with a small screw driver or other? It should "pop" back on but push with your thumbs on the outer side of the back, or you may have warped the back by pushing too far in the center of the back. You may need to take to a jeweler who has a watch press.
Sorry, but this is the risk you take when doing on your own without the right equipment.

I've gotten condensation inside my Guess Steel G16548G and I'm not sure how to open the face or the back to wipe it off. I don't want to go to a watch shop as I feel as if i can do it myself.

The last option is to open the watch!

Try putting it in a warm place for a day or two to se if it dries out on its own.

I don't think it is possible to remove the front. You may have to remove the back and take the movement out.

Take care if you do take the back off, it may be difficult to put it back on!

Good luck

Push the lower left button. The alarm time is showing.
Press the lower right button and it will cycle the hourly beep and alarm on/off.
Press the lower left button to exit when the setting are what you want.

My colibri pocket watch that I received as a gift is dead. It does not appear to be a wind-up. so I am guessing that it has a battery, that is dead. I am looking for how and where I would get it serviced...

If you want to do this yourself, on the back of the pocket watch if you look at the seam going around the back, you will see a little notch. With a solid knife ( a pocket knife will suffice) take the edge of the knife and put it in that slot and pry up. The back should come right off. The battery probibly will be a 371 which will be covered a little with a piece of metal with a liitle hole in it. Take a tweezer ad GENTLY pull the metal piece away from the battery, and the battery shoul pop out a little. After you do that take the new battery and go backwards from how I told you to take it out. When putting the back back on just press with your hands and it should just snap back on. If you still have problem please let me know and I will be glad to assts you futher.Good luck!

My six-month old Casio watch (Module No. 3054) fogs over when the humidity is high so that I can't read the time.

Take it back, the battery must have been changed sometime when it was in the store, and the back has not been sealed correctly. If the store won't take it back I would send to the company. If you don't want to do that, take it to a reputable watchmaker ( NOT A JWEWLER) and have them check out the seal, and how well the back was put on. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask. Good Luck!!
