the best thing to do is take out the sim and reinsert it as your phone might have lost some configuration to send/receive a text message. If that doesn't work then your phone company might have erased txt messaging from your plan. Contact them.
my mytouch can received txt msgs but I can't send messages because an icon appears with an envolope with an explanation mark! meaning "txt not sent"... Help how can I solve this problem
When you port a number over from another company then you begin to have
issues receiving texts from that previous company. They can re-port
your number for free if you explain it to them and they talk to the
department that does the number porting, but if you use FlexPay then
they can't "re-port the number". They usually are willing to change your number though. Have the service books resent to the Verizon user. If they are sending pictures, make sure you can receive those from your provider. Try this also: [email protected]
Put your number in where it says phonenumber on the link. You need to have mms multimedia messaging. By default cricket users
that just have text messaging do not get a email addy. The txt msgs are
routed by crickets network.
Go to settings>communication (the name differs from phone to phone, but it usually has a radio tower next to it) server, select YOUR Phone service I.E. AT&T
