The mac is detecting the TV has a second display. You have two options - you can drag whatever you are watching from your laptop screen to the tv using the mouse. The second option is to go to system preferences, then displays, then click detect displays and select which display you want to be the main display.
Unplug it, count to 10, plug it back in, count to 10 and it should work.
If not, try it in another computer.
If it doesn't work on either computer it is defective.
Greetings,
You can refer to a few Mouse settings as mentioned below
Right-click on the desktop and select Personalize > Mouse Pointers . The Mouse Properties settings window will open.
Alternately, click Start and type Mouse in the Search field, and select Mouse when it becomes available in the program list. The Mouse Properties settings window will open.
Verify that the Device Settings tab is present in the Mouse Properties window.
If this tab is not present, you will need to obtain the Synaptics TouchPad software.
I had the exact same problem with my original Logitech wireless mouse that came with a wireless keyboard. I eventually figured that the button component inside the mouse wasn't making consistent contact causing unintended double clicking or dropping while dragging.
I fixed it by doing some soldering to switch the left mouse button with the right mouse button, since I didn't have to use double clicking or dragging with the right mouse button. It worked pretty well for several months until the switched left button started showing the same problem again.
Now my newer Logitech mouse (it's more expensive Nano wireless mouse) is having the same problem after about 1 year using it. I think there's a serious durability problem with the button component that Logitech is putting on their mice. I may do the same trick again on this mouse, but now I don't consider Logitech as a good mouse manufacturer anymore. They used to make good quality hardwares but I guess they aren't that good anymore with all those cheap Chinese suppliers for their parts. :(
sounds like your keyboard connector has come loose, these eyboard units are actually a seperate keyboard and mouse pad built into one unit, so the mouse's electronics are seperate,
you may also want to check the connector to see if there are any broken/bent pins in the connector (sometimes happens, when accidently unplugged)
Normally only the left mouse button works for dragging PDF file from one ScanSnap Organizer folder to another.
If the left mouse button will not drag the files to another folder, try the right mouse button. If the right mouse button is the only one that works, you have your left and right mouse buttons reversed (see the Mouse settings under the Windows Control Panal).
