Question about Motorola Mobility Moto Q
The phone is turning on but the screen is black. All the sounds and everything come on but the screen is not lighting up, but they keys are.
Hey K.. Sounds like it could be one of two problems.. First is a easy fix (if you are willing to try it) and the second is a bit more complex.. The first suggestion is somehow the cable connecting the screen to the mainboard has come loose.. and you need just to plug it back in.. It sounds scary, but it's really not, as long as you take your time.. The second one that I think is probably the culprit is the LCD has gone kaput.. Which case, you outta check Ebay for a replacement screen.. They're not hard to install, at all, especially if you're not under warranty.. Remember, if it IS still under warranty, you don't want to open it up or it will void it.. :) You can check the web for the guide for disassembly instructions, too.. Hope this helps!
