Question about Oregon Scientific Oregon Gator Mulcher 3-N-1 Blade For 21-Inch Honda Lawn Mowers #90-651
How do you change a blade on a honda lawn mulch/mower?
First and foremost, remove the spark plug wire. Turn mower on it's side, find the right size socket for the bolt in center of blade that holds the blade. If it wont loosen spray with WD-40 and let soak a while, then try again. Once loosend remove old blade, clean bottom of deck where blade fastened, then replace new blade and thoroughly tighten as tight as possible without stripping. Return to upright position and allow to set for 45 minutes to allow oil to drain back into the crankcase to prevent damage. Then reattach spark plug wire to spark plug. Do not attempt to start until oil has had time to return to the crankcase. Do not forget to remove spark plug wire before you attempt to replace a blade.

Unscrew holding bolt, while holding blade. Good idea to pull plug wire. Ratchet works best.
