Question about Thetford Porta Potti

When I flush, no water comes out?

How the heck do you get the fuse out to see if there is a blown fuse? Where it is located, makes it virtually impossible.

Open door, remove toilet cassette unit, look in under flush water tank, observe a short metal blade that actuates a safety switch. This is between two plastic guides. Now look just outside the right hand guide. There you will find the fuse which is a standard blade type. Just pull it down to remove from holder. You will probably find it rated at 3 amp. If it is blown you will probably have to replace pump. Looks difficult but is actually dead easy. Instructions come with replacement Thetford pump. Only problem you may have is a perished sealing ring on the paper holder cup which is no longer available as a spare. Just use a good quality outdoor type sealant as a replacement. Be sure to recover any bits of broken ring from the flush water tank as these can be drawn into your replacement pump and cause it to sieze. At minimum this will cause you to say bother!

Happy repairing.

Left end of the dash , open the drivers door , plastic panel , pull . Fuse box behind there . Wiper fuse 25 amp . Probably not the fuse , wiper switch or the wiper motor assembly . If the fuse is blown , short to ground in the circuity . Fuse's don't blow for the heck of it .

No pressure on my husky power washer 1650

Basic Issues As an electric-powered washer, a circuit overload may cause your Husky 1600 to shut down or prevent it from starting. In this case, check your home's electrical service panel for a tripped breaker or a blown fuse -- the 1600 requires a dedicated circuit rated at a minimum of 15 amps. To prevent a blown fuse, avoid using other large devices on the same circuit as your washer. If you use an extension cord, it must be rated at 15 amps as well. Before moving on to more complex troubleshooting measures, check the gun safety trigger and release the lock if your 1600's trigger will not move. Water Woes Releasing air from the pump serves as a simple fix for low-pressure water output; remove the wand and allow the washer to run as you depress the gun's trigger until the water output normalizes. If your water output seems to lack detergent, ensure that the clear tube is securely connected to the detergent nozzle. Likewise, check the connected water supply and make sure the faucet is fully open and that there are no kinks in the hose to ensure optimal pressure. Using a shorter garden hose makes for stronger pressure, as well -- Husky recommends a hose with a maximum length of 50 feet for a city water supply. Clearing Clogs If your Husky 1600's pressure seems lacking or its water flow is obstructed, clean the nozzle by removing the wand from the gun, clearing the nozzle hole of obstructions with a stiff wire and flushing the nozzle with clean water. Similarly, clean the washer's inner water screen, located behind the garden hose connector, by removing the screen and flushing it with water. This also corrects low or irregular pressure and may remedy a unit that does not stop releasing water when the trigger is released. Model HD1600 features a chemical solution reservoir with a similar screen; clean this screen in the same fashion if you experience chemical intake issues. More to Consider If your power washer issues go beyond troubleshooting basics, contact Husky's customer service department at 800-381-0999. Husky recommends contacting customer service when your 1600 has problems with its pump, bypass valve, discharge valve or manifold assembly, for instance. Because this series of powerwashers was originally offered around 2001 through 2008, Husky's one-year limited warranty no longer covers the cost of replacement parts or repairs.

I HAVE 2004 MONTE CARLO. THE HOT COOLANT TEMP LIGHT HAS COME A FEW TIMES. THE HEATER ONLY BLOWS COLD AIR FOR A BIT AND THEN EVENTUALLY HEATS UP. THE CAR NEVER SEEMS TO RUN HOT THOUGH. I HAVE BEEN TOLD...

A blown head gasket is usually easy to confirm. The head gasket prevents the engine coolant and oil from mixing under the head. If you have a blown head gasket, you should be able to see bubbles of water/cooland on the dip stick when you check your oil.

I do agree that with your heater taking a while to get warm, it probably has some build-up in the system that needs to be flushed out, before it causes other issues.

Best of luck!

Got ac but no heat.fan works fine and no fuses blown.

Check heater valve selonoid by removing electrical connection and then remove the 2 lower hoses. Then use a garden hose and water in one of the bottom hose connection. If water comes out the other end, it's good. If good flush out heater core.Make sure the engine is cool and not hot before opening up cooling system. Had same problem in 95 xj12 there was air in the heater core.they call it air lock.
