What causes my Reebox DMX zone treadmill to start quickly then stop?

Have you got a terminator on the far end? If not this is probably the problem.

You have to check the motor drive. Also check carbon brush of the motor.

Dear Sir:

1) Reset the c. breaker from your outlet home.see if some wire is loose.
2) Do not use extension cord, the drop of voltage is not O.K for to keep running the treadmill.
3) Reset your c.breaker or fuse from your treadmill, is to the side of power button.
4) See internal some wires is loose.
5) Test the input voltage for 115 vac with a VOM., IF THERE ARE MISSING, you have problem with the c.breaker or transformer.

I am not sure if you are using a DMX controller or a standalone setting. If on standalone, sound triggers a random reversing, stopping and flashing mode. I am NOT sure that a stationary mode is available without being commanded by a DMX controller. If you are using a DMX controller get back to me and we will analyze what the problem is. If using a DMX controller, tell what address you are using and the length of the control cable.

The left right motion is when the motor calibrates its position. The unit is then waiting for input... try generating a loud noise... if the audio gain is up and it is configured for manual rather than DMX it should start.

The problem is most likely a malfunctioning incline motor. It is still under warranty, therefore you can contact iconservice.com and they will send a technician to your home to install the new motor. Usually a spark means you have a problem with either the drive motor or motor controller board became damaged. Unplug unit remove the motor shroud physically inspect the motor and board for any signs of arching then replaced the board. Next use a multi meter to check continuity of the drive motor by removing the red and black leads that attached to the board if a reading is much more than 1.0 to 2.0 ohms then your motor is also damaged need to be replaced.

Silly though it may sound, make sure that you've fully inserted the safety key into the front of the console.

When the key is unpacked it arrives with its cord wound in such a way that it looks like the key can being inserted fine but will actually only actually insert half way in. The safety key has to be fully pushed in for main screen to come up.

The cause of a “STUCK KEY” error message on the Basic or Advanced consoles. A stuck key error is displayed when one or more keys on the console or activity zone remain actuated for more than 45 seconds.
SOLUTION
Recycle the power. If the key remains stuck, the console will display “PLEASE WAIT” until the stuck key error is displayed again. Determine the stuck key. Replace the console if the problem is a key on the console. Replace the activity zone membrane keypad or the activity zone circuit board depending on the product if the problem is not in the console.
