i am playing the thousand-year door on nintewndo`s gamecube. to beat hooktail in the first castle you need to find the cricket as the cricket is the only thing that hooktail is afraid of. i have been through the castle several times to no avail. i did try using the platform, that turns you into a paper airplane to see if i could get underneath the castle. then you first enter hooktail1s castle you use a trampoline to jump up to a walkway. when you go through the door it takes you out to a balcony with a platform for turning Mario into a paper airplane when you stand on it and press the y button. there is a break in the bridge below and i have tried to guide the plane below that break in the bridge to get under the castle, but it is very hard to do and with my luck, that`s where the cricket is hidden. thank you for your help in adavnce, Wes Chambers.

hey Cactusbin, i think i need your help again my friend. i made it to twight woods and beat the ghost that was turning the villager`s into pigs. in the process Mario was turned into a shadow and the ghost took Mario`s form. everytime i pass through the first area after you leave the village heading towards the castle the Ghost in Mario`s form asks me to name him. i cannot remember the ghosts name rthat is now using Mario`s form and every time i try to name him and it is wrong we have to battle, but neither Mario in shadow form and the ghost in Mario`s form can inflict any damage on each other and my only option is to run away. what i mean by taking Mario`s form is that now the Ghost looks like Mario, so when the ghost appears it is Mario. Mario is all grey now with hothing more than the profile of Mario with his body colored competely grey. do you know how i can resolve this part of the game? to refresh your memory, i am playing Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door on gamecube. i have been running back and forth from the castle to Twilight Woods looking for something to help me with it, but i am at a loss.
