Which laptop are you using? If it's a MacBook or MacBook Pro, They use the Magsafe connector. Check that no small metalic items have got stuck in the recepticle on the laptop.

Take it to the Apple store and have the port checked out.

Look in the dc jack on your laptop with a flashlight and see if there is something broke inside.

Hi if it's a ibook or powerbook g4, you certainly have a broken part of your charger that stayed inside your mac... then you have to change the port and the charger

The AC jack may be damaged due to pulling on the cord. Make sure the other cord/charger/transformer is the EXACT same power spec before plugging in, it may fry the laptops internal PSU.

White macbook charging problem

Make sure that your power cord and magsafe port are both clean. Reset the NVRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379). If you have another cord, try that. Also try removing the battery and checking the connection between the battery and the connector. If all else fails, your battery is probably going bad.

T will indicate charging but it won't charge actor

If the laptop works only off the Power Cord and the batteryis not charging, then the battery is dead.

To check to make sure the Power Cord is working remove the battery and let thelatop run for 10 minutes or so.

To check to see if the battery has any charge left in it put the battery in andremove the power cord. If it won't boot or shuts down then the battery is deadand needs to be replaced if the power cord is ok.

Macbook says it is not charging but plug indicates it is fully charged

This usually means that your battery is not holding a charge anymore. You will have to replace your battery. A cheaper route is to keep it always plugged in.

Charging problems. When I am charging it with the power cord, the computer will go in and out of charging. I think the problem might be the cord.

most likely is the cord. Id the laptop is still under warrently you can get it replaced for free. If you know someone else who has that laptop try to use there power cord on your laptop and your power cord on there laptop and see what happens.
