Additional handsets must be registered to the base. Registration to the base requires specific key entries doubtlessly brand specific. A user manual may be helpful regarding such. Here is the procedure for Panasonic phones:
it is just a battery and camera manufacturers use generic batteries
take the old battery out and all you need is a battery the same shape , voltage and composition --ni-cad or metal hydroxide
they would be available at any camera shop or online from e-bay
if it came with the panasonic then your options are either bring it back to shop or try panasonic,site,email panasonic for help,and they should send you a new remote
The sensors parts are model-specific. I called PartStore.com at 1-866-925-7278, and they gave me the phone number to Panasonic 1-800-211-7262. A Panasonic tech gave me the info. I needed.
