If you are wanting to play games or watch DVDs then no. If its for easy access to your emails, and internet then yes. In saying that I would not suggest a tablet if you are writing a book or you spend your life on your PC typing as typing on a tablet can become tiresome very quickly. &inches is nice and light but a bigger screen is always a little nicer. There is no right or wrong answer to your question, I know people that love there 7inch tablets and other that wish they had not bought one, think about what you would want to use it for and go and take a look at some demo models in your closest PC store.
