Question about Hi-Capacity LC-R127R2CH1 Panasonic 12 volt SLA battery UPS System

Car Stereo Battery replacement

Hey, ive been trying to save money to replace my kinetik battery hooked up to my subs.

its going a little slower than planned and i would like to get my stereo back up and bumpin.

Heres my question:
i have a bank of eight Panasonic LC-R127R2P1 12v, 7.2Ah batteries that i think i could use to hook into my system instead of having to re-run all of the wires through the firewall.

any suggestions on how to do this or if it can be done?
The amplifier is a 1200W max TMA amp with a 380W RMS rating if that makes any difference.

thanks for help in advance.

yes thats exactly it....i use one optima yellow top and it works great!!! deep cycle holds a charge better and doesnt drain as fast...i have my 0 gauge wire running from my battery all the way back to my optima then the ground from the optima to the amp...i did put a fuse on my power wire right at the main (under the hood) battery. it works wonders for me an im pushin 2000 watts

My amp is on but the subs don't work Kenwood amp

Ok. Simple test to check if your subs are blown. Hook up speaker wire and simply touch each wire to each end of a new aa battery. You should hear like a sizzling static sound from the sub and it should jump slightly if its good. If subs are good you may be having issues with the connection terminals or worse. And it could simply be the audio connection from the stereo or the audio wires need replaced. Possibly replace the stereo or amp. So many more options but this should get you headed in the right direction.

JL Audio 1000/1 v2 distortion problem

Make sure all your connections are tight , really tight . Check ground , make sure it's to clean shiney metal. Three subs are going to have a low ohm load if paralleled . These amps are not 1 ohm stable ,if below 1.5 ohm's you will have problems. They need to be series paralleled to raise the ohm load. These amps put out the same power from 4 to 1.5 ohms.

Sounds like you have a lot of equipment on your boat, cool. But you need to think about the load you are putting on the battery. If you don't have a way to charge the battery back up, you just keep getting the power lower and lower the more you play. Also, with that much draw, it probably doesn't take long before you experience this. Unless your engine is internal and has an alternator to it to recharge the electrical system. This will keep happening. A couple of choices you can make. Either downgrade your system to something that has less draw (definitely ditch the 1000w amp and sub), or you can put more batteries in your boat. Kinetik makes great audio batteries, but regardless of how many you put in your boat, there has to be a way to recharge them. You will probably need to recharge the battery after every use. Hope this helps

I have hooked up my subwoofer and amp to my factory stereo in a 2011 camry. My power wire is hooked directly up to my battery, my ground to the chassis and my remote to my fuse. I have my RCA wires (RCA on...

Rewire your stereo cables as such:

Red- positive - battery
Black - ground - chassis
Remote (Yellow) - ignition switch

The "LINE OUT" should go to your SUB-WOOFER.

The while-lined wires paired with the solid colored wires are either your Front LR and/or Rear L/R.

High wattage car stereo

positive (1 guage) from main battery to second battery positive terminal. hook all amps positive to second battery and hook 2nd battery ground to frame of car (where amp is now grounded) if you have a 2nd battery a cap is a waste of money. make sure all grounds (battery and amps) are together on same ground point of car, do not ground amps to battery - ground everything to 1 spot on the frame or body of the car ! - yes you can pigtail remote leads.
