How to change lid switch in a Whirlpool top load washer.

Tools needed: Phillips screwdrive, flathead screwdriver, putty knife, 3/8 inch nut driver.<br /> <br /> Every model is different. So read though. While standing in front of washer there is a phillips screw on each side of console. Some models have a screw on each side but in back of console. Some models dont have screw so you will need a putty knife to slide under console on each side an push the clips inward and lift up on console. Once you have removed the screws or the clips lift the console and allow to flip upside down and the support hindges on the back of washer. Disconnect the quick connect the clips into another quick connect Brcketed on the frame. Remove the two gold curved shaped hinges one one each side with the flathead screwdriver.Tilt cabinet back and move it away from the washer. Unerneather you will see a quick connect with wires running to the lid switch. Remove the two phillips screws that are under the lid holding the lid switch in place. Remove the 3/8 inch nut holding the ground wire next to lid switch. There are also two hindges the hold the wires inside the lip of the frame. Pull hinges towards you enough to allow the wires to come out. Install new lid switch with the two phillips screws from the old one. Reconnect the 3/8 inch grounding wire to frame. Insert the wires back inbetween the hindges to hold wires. Snap the quick connect into the frame from underneathe. It can only go on one way. Once you have the new lid swtch installed than go back in front of washer. Place the cabinet back in place. Push the lower lip of the bottominside of cabinet back under lip of frame of washer. Gently tilt the cabinet back into place. Take your hand and make sure the glide (white plastic strips ) on the back frame line up and than put the gold hinges back in place. Than do the other side. Make sure its stable. Reconnect the lid switch quick connect. Place console back into place and make sure its snug. Put screws back in place. Now standing in front of washer. Tilt washer towards you to reset the self leveling legs. Now lift the lid and start your washer in spin cycle. Close the lid and open it until the basket returns to normal stopping mode. Keep doing this it usually takes 5-10 times increase speed of basket each time ( have lid closed longer for faster speeds). When the basket breaks are reset you will hear the breaks engage and the basket slowly comes to a stop. If you see it jerking or breaking hard The break package is not reset yet keep trying to reset. Once the break package is reset and the lid switch works good than its laundry time. <br /> <br /> Future knowledge: Lid switches go out for a few different reasons. If you drop the lid and it hits the lid switch hard it can start damaging it. Wear and tear using your washer will wear them out over time. Most common is the dropping of the lid which breaks lid switch over time. Thank you for taking your time to reason this How To and I hope this helped you in your task.

Need lid for sanyo slow cooker esc 450

When my lid was accidently broken years ago I found a heavy glass saucepan lid at a second hand shop that fitted it. A lid off a casserole dish of similar size would work just as well. Ensure you measure the inside width dimensions without lip and then including lip so you find a lid with a secure fit. Good luck.

On my sks rifle when stalling clip have to hold bolt back to install clip

Are you talking about a full magazine? You have to get the bolt out of the way because it is too tight? Take out 1 round and see what happens. Does it do it to an empty mag? You are not talking about a stripper clip are you? You know they don't come with magazines, the 30 rnd mags you get that are detachable have been modified some how. And they don't go in easy. Not like an AK, Let me know.

How do I take the cage off so I can clean the dish?

If you don’t mind VOIDING YOUR WARRANTY, there’s a point at the bottom of the grate where an elongated spine pokes through a tiny hole in the metal dish. Use a screwdriver to pry the metal retaining lip of the dish back from that spot, and pop the grate out by applying pressure to lift the spine out of that hole, and the grate from the dish. BUT the problem is getting the grate BACK IN the metal lip when you are done cleaning. I opted to modify the grate slightly. I used a hacksaw to cut a tiny 1/8-inch section of the outer ring away from the bottom of the grate and removed the retaining spine in the same spot (from inside the ring) to allow enough flexibility to be able to squeeze the grate together to get it back in the dish’s metal lip. Now I can get the grate in and out, but when in, it is still secure enough to be able to lift the heater by grabbing the top of the grate to carry it.

Fuji s5100 batter door cover prongs are broken off.

I have the simple and cheap fix to a frustrating problem!
Just take a tripod base and screw it into the bottom of the
camera. The square tripod base is large enough to hold the battery
cover on the camera closed without any interference.
So there you go! No tape, rubber bands or other crazy contraptions!
Cheap, Quick and simple.

Don't know how to install ink

Installing print cartridges
1 Open the printer, and then press down on the cartridge carrier levers.
2 Remove the used print cartridge or cartridges.
3 If you are installing new print cartridges, remove the tape from the back and bottom of the color cartridge, insert the cartridge in the right carrier, and then close the color cartridge carrier lid.

Warning—Potential Damage: Do not touch the gold contact area on the back or the metal nozzles on the bottom of the cartridge.

4 If a black cartridge is included in the box contents, remove the tape from the back and bottom of the black cartridge, insert the cartridge in the left carrier, and then close the black cartridge carrier lid.

5 Close the printer, making sure to keep your hands out from underneath the scanner unit.

Removing a used print cartridge

1 Make sure the printer is on.
2 Lift the scanner unit.
The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the printer is busy.
3 Press down on the cartridge carrier latch to raise the cartridge carrier lid.
4 Remove the used print cartridge.

Note: If you are removing both cartridges, repeat step 3 and step 4 for the second cartridge.

Battery lid or cover

I have a s5500 with the battery lid clips broken.. fuji says ,, nope no warranty on that part ,, what a joke,,$120 dollars labour plus parts and freight for repair... anyway ,, went to jaycar (electrical supplies etc) and found a small metal clip/ fastener that I used on an existing exterior screw below where the strap is located. i then placed another screw in the lid that allows the remainding hole in the fastener to slip over, works like a charm. took me around 3 minutes to do and does not affect the grip on the camera and still alllows it to be easily opened and closed. I am most pleased i now have my camera back.
