SOURCE: No tension on my Singer 6212C sewing machine

Take the thread completly off the machine and rethread it making sure it goes thru the tension wheel properly.
FYI Loops on the bottom-- Problem is in the threadding.. Loops on the top, problem is with the bobbin.

SOURCE: Singer Model 6212c only sews in reverse...

there's probably nothing wrong with your machine.

check and see if your stitch length setting is set to Stretch instead of somewhere between 2 and 3.

If it's in the stretch zone (below 0), it can sometimes sew backwards unexpectedly depending on what stitch you have selected.

make sure you have selected a straight stitch, and then select the highest stitch width and a stitch length of somewhere between 2 and 3.

it will most likely work fine.

I have a 6212C Singer sewing machine and I removed the plate that holds the bulb in place and somehow cannot replace it properly to where the face fits on.

Download your user manual free from Singer and go to Page 66. You might find it useful. Another question -- is the new bulb exactly the same size as the old bulb?

Needle is not catching the lope. This is singer 6212C. Needle bar has 3 marks, which one do I use no setting the needle high?

The eye of the needle should be just above the hook of the bobbin rail at it's lowest point. Singer sewing machine makes very tiny stitches at fast speed regardless of setting

Technically not a question, but I get your meaning.

The issue is probably caused by one of two things. First, the material may be very slippery. Does the material on either side of the stitch get shredded when sewing it?
Otherwise, it is likely a fault with the feed dogs. It sounds as if it is tight and is reverting to the short stitches. In this case, the feed mechanism needs to be serviced.
