You can do a few tests your self first cheak the breaker box on the house snap it back and forth a few times then run dryer if that does not work you can cheak the thermal cut off located on the rear of dryer .Remove the rear panel and on the right side you will see your element housing the thermal cut off is the top thermostat on the housing join the wires together and run dryer. If that does not work then you may have a bad element.

Samsung Dryer dv203aes/xac will not heat. Drum is rotating and lint was cleared from exhaust.

Check the following:
1. Does it have 220 volts (yes it runs, but dryers run on 110 volts)?
2. Check the heating element and the safety thermostats located on the heat element canister. Low air flow from any restriction like lint build up or mashed ducting or blocked air exhaust vent cap can either trip the safety stats or burn out the element. Clean dryer and exhaust ducting thoroughly and replace bad parts before placing back in service. Poor air flow is the number one problem with "No Heat" dryer issues.

I have a whirlpool Duet gas dryer, model ggw9200lw0. It will glow then heat up but switches off right away.

It sounds to me like your flame is not getting enough air. Make sure that ur screen is clean then clean your dryer vent. The easiest way to see if it is your dryer vent is to take the vent off the back of the dryer. If it runs good without it then you need to clean it. If the dryer heats up a couple times then wont heat up after that then you need to replace the coils

Whirlpool Duet: GGW9200lq0 Dryer Works, No HEAT runs fine but has no heat... vent is clear

This happened to me. Turned out it was a gas valve fracture which had to be replaced by the gas company. That's if you have a gas dryer

Dryer not heating.

First clean out the exhaust vent tubing entirely and then try it. It may heat up very hot if thoroughly cleaned out. A moister sensor detects any lint build up and put the burner into a check mode that prevents home fires in the exhaust vents

Dryer is not hot. there is no heat coming out

A couple of quick things to look at.
1, Make sure the gas valve is on and there is a gas supply.
2, If the vent duct is not clean or restricted, the vent sensor will not allow the burner to ignite, also make sure the burner exhaust vent is clear. Any restriction of the air inlet or exhaust will cause the burner to not function.
Let me know what you find and we can go from there.
Good luck.

Dryer runs for long time and does not heat up to dry clothes

Check first to see if the lint filter is clean and the vent hose is clear. If the filter is clean, the vent hose is unblocked and not crimped, and the exterior vent is clear then you probably need to replace the heating element.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

No heat runs fine

Look for high temp overload switches/safeties.

Ohm those out. If one is tripped make sure the vent pipe and outlet is clear. A partially clogged vent cause it to overheat and trip safety switches.
Some are auto reset, some are manual reset, and some are one time trip and must be replaced.
