The battery is not anything special but the price of the watch is. MSRP about $4300. Why do you want to risk damaging this very expensive watch? Take it to a pro. I am a pro and see way too many watches trashed by people that think they know what they are doing. Sorry to sound harsh but destroy this watch movement by trying to save 10 bucks and you risk spending several hundred (see my eyes light up!)repairing it.

First test is very simple: how does it look? Is it an existing model on sale, many times you will find new creations on marketplace which still needs to be invented by Bulgari themselves.
See the finish, is it correct. Figures, logo, etc. How does it feel, smooth, not too light, how does the crown works (solid) and the brace/strap, no rough edges on the case?
If you don't feel ashamed go a dealer and ask if this is genuine!
Numbers on the back say nothing, these are copied as well like software license key. Check this site: www.bvlgari.com

I thnk that the only people who would be able to identify serial numbers are the manufacturers.

I have examined their web site (which is the usual place to find instructions) but couldn't find anything there.

by the way I have to replace the rubber strap too.

you can repair them yourself by buying the rhinestones and special glue online at www.mrstones.com all shapes and sizes just measure where the stone was and match the shape and pick the col which is usually crystal and voila

An authentic Bulgari watch of this style would sell for around $2000. This particular model was counterfeited a lot so its best to have a watch maker familiar with the model or brand look at the case, band, and movement. Be sure to have the movement inspected so you know it was not swapped for a cheap replacement.
