Question about Sport & Outdoor - Others
Sorry I'm rather late to the party - was just trying to find the instructions for my own Lakefield 2000, which my bro had borrowed some time back - it's a great family tent but it isn't that obvious which bits go where. ...Eventually the pitching instructions turned up, so this is me posting them in the hope it helps some other poor soul who's similarly stuck!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It sounds like you have a reed problem they should be in a "cage" just behind the carbs on the cylinder and if they were missing a piece or if they were cracked it would cause the engine to backfire. If they are in good condition they should close against the cage and stop the back pressure coming through the carbs.
