It's likely that the door switch has failed, or stuck in the depressed position from grease or your oven cleaner spray solution. To correct this problem, remove the door switch and inspect with a multimeter for continuity connection.

Hi, unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door. Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door. If these procedures fail to correct the condition, the lock must usually be accessed and moved manually to open the door.
*Note: Some model ovens require the oven door to be manually unlatched before the controls are returned to the OFF position or else the door may not be able to be unlocked. Check the owner's manual for proper operating procedures.

Just purchase a good oven cleaner, generally available at most supermarkets, they can be a spray type cleaner, or a gel that you brush on, personally, I prefer the spray on type of cleaner.

Here are some solution on how to unlock the door of your oven ans do self cleaning below.

IF you can locate the model number tag (bottom left of door opening) you can look up the manual at www.geappliances.com
The only button on your stove that should make the door lock would be the clean button (self clean model) if that is pressed simply hit the clear/off or cancel key and wait for the door to unlock. Door lock motor has probably failed.....Self clean on many ovens can be a self destruct mode. Door latch motors, sensor probes and even the electronic controls can be destroyed by this operation. Suggest oven cleaner method.

it hapen to me i activated the self cleaning gently hit the top of door and turn the self cleaner off the latch came off was able to use the oven did not used cleaner again clean it manuelly did not whant to spend the money
