SOURCE: I got the ch-DVD 300 no power anymore, I opened

This is not a good solution but it is one I have used for extreme situations.
Take a single strand from an old cheap lamp cord and solder it across the ends of the fuse. This will create a new fuse of approx. 1 amp. I made a safe cross country flight in a private plane by making a temporary fuse when a new one wasn't available.

Diagram where fuse is in the polaroid flm-3701

There is a fuse on the power supply board. It is labelled F1. It is a small cylinder near the AC connector. The F1 fuse is 5A 250V. How ever, capacitors are more likely to fail on this television.
The Polaroid FLM3701 has a problem with capacitors failing on the power supply board. If enough caps go bad, you will get no power. Not even a power light. Any capacitor that is swollen is bad.

Not even a power light. Look for swelling in the tall capacitors E8 thru E17 on the left side of the board. Also E6, E7 and E22 can go bad, but they do not swell.

I am not sure what fuse to put in it, when I got it it had a 500 MA Ceramic 5x 20 250v Fuse blown; but when I replace it with the same it automatically pops. The board of the power supply has written on it...

On the body of the fuse or on the circuit board there will be a suffix T or F next to the value.
T stands for Time delay or slowblow. If its marked F it means fast acting fuse.
Now after replacing the correct fuse if it still pops you have a short circuit and it is drawing high current, so the popping. Get professional help or you will do further damage.

I have a JVC DR-MX1SEK dvd combi recorder. It was working well when I was searching for another problem when I removed the plug from the mains socket and a blue flash came out of the recorder. I removed...

Not sure if you have resolved this but that fuse is widely available. It is a 20mm x 5mm 2 amp slow blow glass fuse. It is perfectly possible that your replacement was correct but that a separate fault in the machine is causing the fuse to blow. Remember, fuses are designed to protect things (either the machine or you) and to blow if a fault causes more current than is safe.

No power to my dell 2300mp

The fuse is a short round maroon colored part to the left of the power plug looking at the power supply module from the direction that you would connect the cord to. it is labeled F1 and it is a 4a 250v. This is not the problem with my power supply though. I suspect one of the components under the heatsink is bad.
as you all know don't bother calling dell.

No Power at all. Fuse T2AL is blown up

Thanks to Bogbrush (what a name!) above for the hint to check R5107 when the STRG6653 explodes, indeed it was open circuit. I replaced that with a non-SM component since that's what I had to hand, replaced the fuse (2AT), replaced the STRG6653 and replaced the mains rectifier since this looked to have suffered even though cold checks implied it was OK. Then rewarded with a fully working DR-MH200. I had already gone through the power supply replacing any capacitors which had gone high E.S.R, several had. The 27uF 35V capacitor in the primary circuit of most JVC DVD recorders is particularly prone to failure.
