Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not defrosting as it should.

  • possible causes:
  1. bad defrost timer/board
  2. bad defrost heater (in freezer)
  3. bad thermo switch in freezer
If you don’t know what these are then unplug the machine and let the ice melt in the freezer overnight with the door open. Then try it the next day, if is cooling fine then you need to have a service person replace one of the above items. If it still has a problem then it might be the compressor and you should probably replace the machine.

make sure you have cleared the drain all the way to the drip pan, and the fridge should be tilted slightly to the rear for good drainage........make sure there is a clear path for the water to make it to the drain hole

you have the freezer set too low. set it at -02 degrees and then turn up the adjustment for the meat tray and the humidity up on the vegetables. let me know if this helps.

The defrost thermostat on the defrost heater is probably bad, it's a good place too start.

SOURCE: the lights are on but it is not cooling or freezing

The overload/relay is shorted . This is the piece plugged onto the side of the compressor , with 2 or 3 wires going to it . Pt # 8201786 . Remove the back refrig panel to access the compressor . This part is easily replaceable . Instruction come with the part(s) . A little plastic "clip" needs to be released , when removing the plug from the part , by using a small screwdriver .

Food does not seem to be cooking properly. Did a pork roast and it came out dry and tough. Make tortelli soup and the celery and carrots were still hard.


you might need to freeze your meats if you have then you need to probably go with a different temperature on your oven by setting it to 350 degrees instead of 450 that could probably be why the meat is overcooking always baste your meat in juices from the meat use a turkey baster that can help or add more water to your meat and vegetables that takes more time for the meat to cook but the product will come out more juicer.

Yes you can. If it is roast beef you might want to freeze it in beef gravy. Make sure it is sealed real good and use freezer plastic bags or if you have a food sealing device to vaccumm seal it. Deep Freeze meats cooked or uncooked last longer in a Deep Freezer as well!

The answer is that it depends. I don't recommend freezing ham radios. Your owner's manual probably has specified a safe range of operation. Freezing your radio will more than likely cause permanent damage.

If you are talking about the food ham, you are in the wrong place. You can store ham frozen for as long as you want, provided you don't mind freezer burn. Generally three months is about the longest you can freeze cooked meat and maintain the quality.

No definitely not once it has been defrosted thats it the best way is to cook it rare, then freeze it nice and hot all the way through when u want it cook again to the way u want it

Frezeer was unpluged by accident. All mear thawed out. Is it ok to refrzeethe meat and eat it later.

Yes, but ensure the casserole is thorughly cooked then cool and freeze straight away. This ensures ay bacteria do not get chance to breed. I have assumed you are liquidising before potting

Once a cooked meat dish is defrosted and reheated can it be refrozen?


It's not recommended. Once it has been defrosted and reheated bacteria start to reproduce on it. Freezing it will not kill the bacteria just stop or near stop their reproduction. However once it's defrosted again they begin to reproduce again so there's a much greater chance of food poisoning.
