In doing some research on this issue I've found it to be a common occurrence. Some suggestions state to try adjusting your video settings, but others state it's a bug and manually closing the application is the only way to get around it.

It depends on what application is causing the full screen mode. Try one of the following

<pre>
tips.....

too fast and crash audio unsync

this because your pc is too fast

this works on winxp, not tested on ther os but try the same proccess might work..

2 option is available

1. on freedom fighters directory look for freedom fighter.ini open it and
find disablevsync (change this to enablevsyc) then right-click on
application ico then select properties change the
compability to 95 or 98 ( this sync does not include audio

2. start the game then alt+tab then endtask ctrl+alt+del then find
freedom fighters.exe right-click change affinity and disable either
1 or 0 cpu to reduce cpu processes speed, and back to game now
you can observe the audio is sync w/o eax creative audio card

by korotchan

note: everytime you start the application need to repeat 2nd step.... taskman resets the setting, or you can use processes control application
like coreaffinity application

check ur connection setting and reinstall yahoo messenger Reboot your computer. 2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del on your keyboard. This will bring up the Windows Security window. Click the "Task Manager" button and then click the "Task Manager" tab. 3. You will see a list of files/applications. These are the applications running in the background on your system, whether they show on your taskbar or not. Any one of these applications could be causing a conflict with the Yahoo! Messenger installation. 4. Click the top item on the list to highlight it. Then hold the "Shift" key down and click the last item on the list. This should highlight the whole list. 5. Click the "End Task" button. This will temporarily close all background applications on your system. 6. Click the "X" in the upper right corner to close the Task Manager window. 7. Install Yahoo! Messenger. You should not experience the same issue that you had before. 8. After Yahoo! Messenger is installed, run registry cleaner reg in out also reboot your system.
