The only way to see if this replacement part will work for you or not, your product's Part Numberhave to be the same with our replacement Part number. If it's on the list, then it will be compatible. (Your Deivice Model number is not good enough to verify correct product).Part numbers can be located on your Asus UDQF2PH62BAS Cooling FAN or you can check your user's manual. Another way to check for compatibility would be to check the listing within the "Fits the following model." The list will provide you with the product model that would be compatible with the List item. for more information : www.2egoo.com
You are looking for motherboards that are either pin 1156 or 1155 please see the links below, mainly most 1155 are compatible with the above, 1156 are compatible but then some only support i5 and i7, when you see a 1155/1156 pin board make sure you check on the hardware manufactures website for specifications as most of them actually "TEST" most CPU's for quality assurance purposes and will have a spreadsheet which tells you if i3 530 & i3 540 is compatible. for ex: http://www.asus.com.au/product.aspx?P_ID=qWmZUAdNKeozTOXb&templete=2 as you can see asus have a CPU support section and specifies your cpu's and if they will work.
Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is
for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like
you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from
other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before
installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use
"troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program
installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will
allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run.
Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))
