Call apple and explain this, cause it sounds like a factory glitch and there's no fixing it except through Apple

I push the rest and it still does not work

I already reset it that but it didn't worked (screen still showing downloading...) What I did was this: I let it on (with this frozen screen saying downloading) until it lost any charge and turn black it self, so I pluged it to my laptop and bualah! everything went fine again. I hope it helps you.

My problem started out pretty confusing. One day I turned my lap top on and the screen, after about five to ten seconds of being on, went black. I could see things loading up sort of but the screen was too...

Darkened screen as you describe indicates a failing inverter. You can test this easily by plugging the laptop into an external monitor, if this works ok, then the inverter needs replaced, If it does not work, the problem is with the graphics chip / motherboard

My laptop screen went black. Laptop won't turn

It powers on but there's no visible picture. Have you tried plugging in a VGA cable to an external monitor for picture? If you see a picture that means the lamp inside the screen went out on the LCD, which is cheaper than replacing the entire screen about 200 dollars cheaper.

The screen went black and now it has alot of lines across it

Sounds like a bad video card.A video inverter could cause distorted graphics but usually it turns out to be the graphics card.

Inspiron 1521 green screen problem

The LCD cable or the cable to the Inverter board may have come loose.

Here is a site that will show you in pictures what the LCD cable connections look like. The site also has Laptop repair hints:

Try connecting an external monitor - if you get a picture then the laptop screen may be faulty or turned off.

LCD is black

you can see images clearly? but no Menu items show is that what you mean? This would indicate a firmware malfunction. If you see nothing at all on the screen but only 'ghost' images then the back light has blown. Try first of all with the camera on tapping gently at the base of the casing in the region of the screen- this is where the connectors to the main board are. Contact The Minolta support team. If you are getting nowhere - I suggest the next camera - repairs are not usually an economic option if at all.
