Is the unit hooked up in a vehicle? If it is, try increasing the engine rpm a little bit to bring the voltage back up. Sounds like the hair dryer is overloading the inverter.

I have a Superex 100W power inverter. I want to see if I can plug into cig lighter then a standard extension cord and lamp into it

In order to produce 100 watts at 120 volts, the current will be 1.2 amps. But if you are producing that power from 12 volts input, the current will be at least 10 times the output current, and that would be at 100% efficiency, which is impossible to achieve, The efficiency could be assumed to be around 70% though, meaning that the current input required to produce 100 watts at the output would be somewhere around 13 amps. That's a lot of continuous power drawn from a cig. lighter, and the load might blow the fuse or breaker for that circuit.

do you have a voltage meter to test? you want to have 220 volts on L1 to L2.. this would be the red and black wires. this is where you need to have 110 volts, between L1 and N which should be white wire at middle of terminal block and 110 volts at L2 and N...this means your getting proper voltage to the dryer..if your not getting power on one side or the other..this is why its not running.
check this and let me know...there is alot of other things to consider if not this...

Maytag dryer MDE7600AYW constant squealing when dryer is operatable.

Most of the time that squeal is the roller nearest the heating element.

To access the innards you first remove the door and the screws opposite the door for reversing purposes. This will allow you to pop off the front goalpost. Then you can remove those hooks that hold down the top. Then you remove the shroud. You can then get the drum out and inspect the rollers.

Starter will not turn engine on 2001 tacoma

First, you need to check your battery with a volt meter to make sure you have 12v or better there. Then check that connection surfaces are clean and secure. Make sure opposite ends of both cables are also clean and secure. With volt meter across battery, turn the ignition key to the start position...volts should not drop below 9.5v. If it does, have battery load tested. If it passes, then either starter is drawing too many amps and needs to be replaced, or engine is seized (unlikely). If no drop noted, check voltage at large connection at starter (should be 12v) then, check small (trigger) wire on starter with key turned to start. If there is 12v there and starter does not respond, starter has failed. If no volts there, check neutral safety switch and ignition switch for volts in/out. Likely, before you complete these tests, you will have located the problem. If there is a "remote" starter relay in your system, check that for volts in/out as well.

2500 dell inspiron fails to boot when new fan comes on

You are drawing too much current from the power supply with the current hungry fan.Try using a different fan that draws less power on start up. Or use a limiter to lower the input voltage draw on start up. These are usually found in fan speed controls You could also use a voltage dropping adaptor like the one use to quite fans down . They drop the 12 volt voltage to 7 volts by connecting the two voltages usually found on the power connector 12v and 5v and and adding them together getting a 7 volt output. You can also try connecting the fan directly to the power supply and avoid using the motherboard connector. The problem with this is you will not get use of the speed controling sensors used in the motherboard connections. Hope this helps you with your problem.

Green light, No Power

Disconnect the remote wire and make a jumper at the amp from the 12v + to the remote input and see if you get the same results. If yes, then you probably have a bad ground point. It might not be able to handle the transfer load it's receiveing. If no, then you have an issue with your remote wire or power wire. Check for any kinks or pinches in the wire.
