Question about Sharp HT-CN300 System
I have been given a Sharp CN300 subwoofer but I have a new Onkyo TX-CR313, how do I connect the subwoofer to the receiver (what cables to purchase)?
Hello! You will most likely need a RCA cable with single ends (both being male ends) One end plugs into your subwoofer input....marked subwoofer input on the subwoofer..........The other end will plug into your receiver that is marked subwoofer . When low frequencys from your media.....whether dvd,s /cable or audio cd,s is present the sub woofer will kick in , Make shure to adjust your setting on the rear of the sub if it has any like volume or frequency , most better subs have them as where the home theater in a box combo usually does not!
