You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

SOURCE: Can the Jenn-AIr microwave oven

If your oven used a more normal rotating turntable you might be able to get away with a replacement other than the original. But this oven has a screwy arrangement where the oblong tray moves back and forth in the cooking cavity instead of turning.

In most ovens, the turntable motor drives a coupling which in turn engages fitted spots in the bottom of the glass tray, and the tray goes round and round. In your model, a projection on the coupling fits into a slot on the tray bottom to convert the motor rotation into back and forth motion, and it only works on the original tray. You might find a tray that will fit into the oven, but it won't turn. You would need to stop the oven, open the door, and manually rotate the food occasionally during cooking. You would also lose some capacity since the round tray wouldn't hold as much as the original oblong one.

The original tray part number is 53001532. Here's one source for the original. If they still have them, it's a good price and would be the best way to keep the oven running as designed.

SOURCE: The latch that opens the door to my Jenn-Air model

If the point of damage can be glued together with good bonding and further re-enforcement , it can be strong to withstand pressure.
So remove the assembly to try this out before you think there is no way out but to replace with the handle assembly from the service center.
The other option is to get one from a scrapped set.

Help need replace glass panel in pvc

Hi,

This door is radius and would be difficult to replace. Repair clinic claims the part is due in at the end of this month, I wish you luck on your search. I have not seen someone make this correctly as the metal supports at the bottom are attached to the glass and the stainless steel outer panel is just a panel stuck to glass.

Good luck

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. It is hard to take apart without breaking it! It is held together with all plastic clips and they break! But you can by putting a putty knife in the inside door seam all the way around and pry the clips down to pop the door apart.
Thank You and please rate my answer if it was helpful..

Handle broke off Microwave oven door can I repair? How can I access mounting screws? Where can I find parts?

On MOST microwave ovens, you just have to remove the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. The following link explains how to replace the door handle:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3696942-microwave_oven_door_handle_replacement

If the model number is correct, the part numbers for a door handle replacement is 56001139 and 56001136. There are two pieces with the door handle on this model oven. Replacements may be purchased at the websites listed in the link I provided.

If you have any questions, or if your model number is different than the one listed, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Jenn-Air Microwave turntable not working, microwave works

It's probably a cracked coupler or a weak, slipping motor.
