Makita buffer clicking, sparking and burn smell, power loss upon immediate use

it is a armature problem common to makita products
replacing one armature with a new one does not solve the problem as the fault is a design fault
probably armature not wired heavy enough for continuous running
consider replacing it with a better brand that enables continuous operation

What is the best way to clean a fresh blood stain from a wool carpet?

Cold water on a clean cloth, blot with damp cloth, then with dry cloth, repeat, repeat, repeat until you do not see any red coming out. If you have a carpet cleaner flush it with lots of cold water sucking it up with your carper cleaner or extractor. A good professional carpet cleaner can prevent your spot from becoming a stain. Often you can use enzyme cleaners to remove blood but NOT on wool carpets.

How do i clean a handmade wool rug that is stained and really dirty

These are usually quite durable. I use a fairly stiff brush with mild soap and water. If the carpet is good quality, you can rinse with a garden hose or even a pressure washer . Hang over a bathtub or outdoors to dry. Drying will take two or three days, but do not leave out in the sun longer than that. Professional cleaning is also available if you wish.

The "hand" run by battery

You have to take it all apart and clean the gears and shaft with keroseen on a rag. Use steel wool to take the rust off the shafts and gears and see if the motor will spin without the gears attached to it. If it does not that has to be taken apart and cleaned. When putting it all together use a light grease or vasoline and put a little on the gears and shafts. Put a little on the motor shaft but make sure you do not get it on the comutator where the brushes ride on the motor.
