How do i reset my element tv?

Unplug the TV
- Hold down the source button on the TV (tech said it is a button close to the power button on the tv)
- Plug in the TV
- When on the Recovery screen, release the source button on the TV.
- Move down to 'wipe data/factory reset' using the volume down button on the TV to navigate, select with the power button.
- Wait for this to complete and return to the menu
- Select reboot system now

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. Sounds like power supply has fried, take to TV repairman or since its an Element just buy a new one that is not an Element. Get a LCD, LG is good.

Sometimes this kind of behavior indicates that the TV needs to be reset. Unplugging it overnight should cause a reset. Often the underlying problem returns, however. Good luck!

this a defective board, psu or inverter board, need to be checked. send to electronics repair store.
