Every time I try to cancel it, an insane beeping starts and lasts for several minutes. Also the door lock keeps locking and unlocking

Cannot find my manual and would like to know how to use the self-cleaning part. I held the button down for "lock", but the door did not lock, and where do I go from there?

Give this a try:
1. Verify error code by pressing and holding CANCEL/OFF key for 5 seconds. Momentarily (less than 5 sec.) press CANCEL key again to remove error code display. 2. Program and start the Clean mode. Observe to see if door locks. If it does not, inspect the locking mechanism from the solenoid to the latch pawl and door to find the cause of the problem. If the door is not locking, then 1 minute from the start of the Clean, the F5 E1 code will again be displayed. Press CANCEL key to remove error code display. 3. Once any mechanical problems with the latch mechanism have been corrected, program and start a Clean cycle (after, if necessary, clearing F5 E1 error code) to ensure proper operation of the door lock. Immediately cancel the Clean mode to observe proper operation of door unlock.

40494 / 40495 / 40499 Electric Single Oven: have a kenmore self cleaning electric range it was...

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

You have a stuck or shorted keypad. Try Cancel/Off and hold for 10 seconds. Then push every key several times to unstick. If that does not work unplug range and remove the access panel, disconnect the wire connections, then replace them. If all these steps fail replace the control. good luck

Burners & clock are working, but oven, brioler & self-cleaner won't. Error F-0, EO

Brandyz Most likely the problem with your range is the spark module. It is located in the control panel on the right hand side. You can access it by removing the back panel held with four screws from the back. Remember to unplug the range first. The name plate with the model number and the serial number is on the frame behind the storage drawer. You can buy the spark module here: http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=SrmyP8LkIos&offerid=92089.545301030&type=10&subid= It comes with installation instructions. Gendos...post back
