Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
Cannot listen to music or videos as sound is scratchy and distorted.
I think I have the same problem..
Lately (past 6 months or so) listening to mp3's on the computer has notbeen that fun. All of my music has pops, clicks, or sounds scratchy. Idon't think its the speakers because it happens when the (Bose)headphones are plugged into the computer headphone jack and speakersare turned off, too. My drivers are up to date, should I uninstall thenre-install? Device manager says the audio card is working just fine.
It is an on-board soundcard: Realtek High Definition Audio. I haveVista Home Premium 32 bit, on an E-Machines computer. Driver version ofsoundcard is 220.127.116.1104.
I use WMP11, Winamp 5.541, and iTunes 18.104.22.168 and the problem existswhile listening to mp3s on all of these programs. Same issue with .wav,.wma, and .ogg as well, not just mp3, but the majority of my tunes aremp3.
I think it's a problem with drivers. I've seen it on two Acer notebooks with realtek high definiton audio.
