How to set up wifi

With an online-capable game insertedinto your Nintendo DS, turn on your system and access the game's main menu. Access the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection settings.(These settings are typically found by selecting "Nintendo WFC" fromthe game's main menu. For detailed directions, consult the manual for thegame.) At the Setup screen, tap"Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings." Tap "Connection 1 None." Clickon "Search for an Access Point." TheNintendo DS will search for any wireless networks within range. Once it isfinished searching, it will display the names of all the wireless networks itfinds. Look for your wireless network. What to do next will depend on the"lock" icon you see next to your network on the Nintendo DS. If thelock icon that appears is unlocked and blue, Select "OK," "SaveSettings," and then "Yes." The Nintendo DS will run a connectiontest with your wireless router. The connection test was successful - YourNintendo DS is now connected online and you can enjoy the Nintendo Wi-FiConnection features of the game! The connection test was not successful - Ifthe test was not successful, you will receive an error code. Error Code 51300: This means the security codeor network name entered into the Nintendo DS is not the same one the router isset to. To reach your connection settings, click "back" on the errorcode screen. Make sure to pay extra attention to the security key you find inyour router's settings and enter it exactly as it appears (the key is casesensitive). For all other error codes, go to the Nintendo website or contactcustomer support. If the lock icon is locked and red, Enter your router's WEP keyinto the Nintendo DS Select"OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes." TheNintendo DS will run a connection test with your wireless router. Theconnection test was successful - Your Nintendo DS is now connected online andyou can enjoy the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection features of the game! Theconnection test was not successful - If the test was not successful, you willreceive an error code. If the lock icon is locked and grey, and you wouldstill like to connect your Nintendo DS online, you will need to either changeyour router's security to WEP, or disable security entirely. Please note thatany changes you make will affect other devices that connect wirelessly to yourrouter.

How do you connect the wii to a dsi

Can You Use Nintendo DS With Wii?

The portable Nintendo systems, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and DSi, are connectible with the Nintendo Wii system, much like the compatibility between Nintendo's Gameboy Advance and Gamecube video game systems.

  1. Purpose
    • Connecting the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, or DSi to the Nintendo Wii allows owners of these systems to use them to their maximum potential, as they take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity. This allows you to use the systems simultaneously with certain Nintendo DS games.
    Connecting
    • To connect the Nintendo DS, DS Lite or DSi to the Nintendo Wii, the Wii needs to be connected to the Internet wirelessly either through a router or by the Wii LAN adapter. These Nintendo systems share a Wi-Fi connection, and this allows the portable Nintendo systems to connect instantly to the Wii via the wireless signal shared by the Wii and the Internet.
    Function
    • Once you have your portable Nintendo system and Nintendo Wii connected, the DS will act as a controller and allow you to play the DS game through the Wii system while maintaining the touchscreen and microphone capabilities of the portable system. Another function of the connection is that the Wii is able to expand the portable Nintendo system's games.
    Games
    • There are only a handful of portable Nintendo games that allow you to connect to the Wii, including the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games, which allow players to use Pokemon accumulated via these DS titles to battle with in the Wii's Pokemon Battle Revolution game.
    Future
    • Nintendo has commented that there are plans of being able to download and play game demos to the portable Nintendo systems through the Wii's Nintendo Channel.
or just visit the link below for more info on your wii

My dsi is not connecting to the internet

Hi shamar101,

To set up your wifi on your dsi do the following:

Here's How:
  1. Turn on the Nintendo DSi
  2. Click on the wrench icon to access "System Settings."
  3. Select "Internet" on the third page of System Settings.
  4. Select "Connection Settings" and tap the "None" bar in "Connection 1."
  5. You have the option of setting up a connection manually, or searching for available connections in the area. You may also access your Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector, if you have one (the product has been discontinued). The easiest thing to do is select "Search for an Access Point."
  6. Your Nintendo DSi will list the names of any wireless access points in range. A gold, unlocked icon next to the connection's name signifies an unlocked WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) connection that can be accessed immediately. A locked gold icon signifies an encrypted WEP connection that requires a WEP key (password).
  7. If you are accessing a locked/encrypted connection, enter your WEP key. You may also click "Change Security Settings" to enter a WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) key.
  8. If your WEP key is correct, your Nintendo DSi should connect. You can test your connection to verify.
  9. You're set! Now you can surf the Internet, purchase games and add-ons in the Nintendo DSi Shop, and play games that allow wireless access and competition (with WEP connections, only).
Tips:
  1. If you need help with your router settings, visit Nintendo's router FAQ
  2. Most Nintendo DS and DSi owners can get online by searching for an access point, but some might have to resort to manual setup. Visit Nintendo's manual setup guide if you have a unique situation and need help.
  3. The Nintendo DSi can go online with a WPA connection, but actually playing DSi games online requires a WEP connection.
What You Need:
  • A Nintendo DSi
  • A broadband internet connection, such as cable, DSL or FIOS
  • A wireless router
  • A Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector (optional)

Hope this helped!

Web setup

With a Wi-Fi compatible game inserted into your Nintendo DS, access the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings screen. Your game manual provides information on how to do this for the game you are playing.
  1. Tap Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings
  2. Tap one of the Connection slots
  3. Tap "Search For An Access Point"

The Nintendo DS will then display the name of your wireless access point.
If your Access Point has a blue, unlocked icon, tap the Access Point name, and then 'OK.' The Nintendo DS will then establish a connection with your router. Back out to the main screen of your game and your ready to play online.

If your Access Point has a red, locked icon, the Nintendo DS has detected WEP key security on your router. Tap the Access Point name on the Nintendo DS and then enter the WEP key for your router on the following screen and tap 'OK' to save the settings.

Tap 'OK' again and the Nintendo DS will then establish a connection with your router. Back out to the main screen of your game and your ready to play online.

If your Access Point has a gray, locked icon, the Nintendo DS has determined your router's security settings are not supported by the Nintendo DS. In order to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you will need to either switch to WEP security, or remove the security setting of your router when connecting with the Nintendo DS.

Trying to connect to wifi usb connector and keep getting error code 52203

I'm assuming you are talking about the nintendo DS. Here is the info on that error code straight from nintendo:

Error Code: 52203
The Access Point you are attempting to connect from is not connected to the internet or a firewall is blocking traffic necessary for connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. What to do will depend on where you are trying to connect from: What to do:
If you have multiple connection files saved to your Nintendo DS, the error message you received can help determine which connection file may be experiencing a problem:
    • Errors ending in 0 = connection file 1
    • Errors ending in 1 = connection file 2
    • Errors ending in 2 = connection file 3
    • Errors ending in 3 = Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  • Verify that your router is connected to the internet when attempting to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. If you are not able to access the internet on your computer, then there is a problem with your internet connection. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for more information.

  • America Online (AOL) broadband users may experience difficulties when attempting to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Please contact America Online for assistance.

  • If this error occurs regularly, while you are playing at home, it is likely a connection problem related to your firewall settings. For more information on firewalls and the Nintendo WFC, click here.
If the above information does not work, and you are using the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, click here for additional assistance.
If the above information does not work, and you are connecting at home with a wireless router, there could be settings on your router that need to be adjusted. Please click here for more information.

Connecting from a non-partnered Hotspot:
If you have multiple connection files saved to your Nintendo DS, the error message you received can help determine which connection file may be experiencing a problem:
    • Errors ending in 0 = connection file 1
    • Errors ending in 1 = connection file 2
    • Errors ending in 2 = connection file 3
    • Errors ending in 3 = Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  • The access point at the Hotspot may not be experiencing problems. Ask the staff on site if their Wi-Fi network is up and running.

  • If the Hotspot's access point has a built-in firewall or other security that interferes with the necessary transmissions from the Nintendo DS, then the access point will not be compatible with the Nintendo DS.

  • Try another Hotspot. To search for known Hotspots in your area, click here.
