Question about Orion1934 19" TV
Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Although it works for switch OFF, if the intensity of infra-red rays are weak, it should switch it back ON. Check the remote control with fresh batteries. If it behaves like this even with fresh batteries, the infra-red emitter LED at the front of the remote control should be faulty, and need replacement. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts. Details about how to check a remote control is given.
