Question about Dell Inspiron Mini 10 10v 1010 1011 PP19S Series Laptop Auto Car Adapter (C1930SUU3170B473B3)
It start beeping between the Dell Inspiron screen and the Windows XP screen. This is what it does. Cut the computer on The dell Inspiron screen come up(it ok), after that the screen is clear then it beep two times pause then start beeping until the Xp screen come up and then quit.
It could be a bad memory module. Try removing and reinstalling them. Try one module at a time to see if beeping stops . Check all other connections to make sure they are properly connected. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Dear sir,
Thank you for choosing fixya.com
First, go to the start menu, and select Windows Update. If there are any updates, or your sound driver is out of date, or not the right one, or not compatible, it will be detected as such. Upon this, if true, it will give you the option to download the most current driver for your sound card.
If not, uninstall the current driver, or if the option is given, select, default driver.
If this as well does not work, restart your computer, and at the prompt (top of screen) hit F2 or F11 (whichever is given as the appropriate selection) and enter setup. When Setup is opened, you will see a File Menu. Starting witth the left tab, select F9 (see command options at the bottom of the screen-command may differ) Select the command (F9) to set the Default Settings. Do this for all the tabs. The last tab will be the Exit Tab. Exit and Save Settings. Once Setup has exited, the system will reboot. If the problem still persists: Try re-installing the drivers from the setup disc for XP.
I hope this information helps you get your sound working again.
Thank you for choosing fixya.com

you can pay to have this service done by the manufacturer of the hdd. other than that, there is no way for you to really do this on your own. once a password is on it, there is no solution to crack it.

If you do not have a Recovery/restore CD then you can get one from the Dell WEB site.
To reinstall Windows, boot up your laptop with this recovery CD and follow the instructions.
You can download the recovery CD and device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on thislink to download the drivers: - http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen
