That code indicates a fan-2 error. These projectors generate a lot of heat and depend on air circulation to keep everything cool. Make sure nothing is blocking the vents on the projector. Check the fan for lint and dust. Make sure fan spins freely and is operating correctly. Keep projector away from any other heat sources. Hope this helps.

We usually suggest cleaning and preventative maintenance at least once a year to avoid problems like this one. It is very likely that the projector may need a new filter along with a cleaning. Additionally, if you notice any discoloration, the unit may need to have its polarizing plates calibrated.

Turns itsel of after a few seconds

Not the lamp - if it were the lamp it would never turn on in the first place! Check for a defective component in the power supply area especially the capacitors. When their value changes, they are responsible for all kinds of erratic behavior. Items will not turn on, shut down after a few seconds, etc.

All projectors have self dioganisng function. If there is any malfuction inside the projector it will indicated by the LED blinking. You have to inspect how many time the LED blinks or which LED lights condinuosly. LED meas the power light or the lamp light. Then only anybody can suggest you a better solution.

The ballast unit has most likely failed. Replace the ballast unit, unless the lamp exploded and in which case, there may be glass fragments stopping a fan from turning.
