Try plugging in the power cord and USB lead into the back of the printer. Then, attach the USB lead to your PC and plug the power cord into the wall. Then try to turn on your printer with all the devices (PC/Mac and wall socket) on

You might have to un-install the printer program and then re-install it, (if you have the original disc). Sometimes long periods of time seem to corrupt driver files etc. Also, don't forget that you'll probably need new ink cartridges as well, but try the program first. If it doesn't work then you won't have wasted money on ink, new printers are pretty cheap now anyway. I would suggest Epson, for quality and price it's a good balance. Lexmark on the other hand, has good quality, but you pay dearly for the ink.

Check online for ink cart. prices by brand name to get a better idea if you like. Don't forget to check the "ml" or (volume) of ink as well, they vary widely. Hope this helped.

I came on after I unplugged it for a while then it had the alarm light on and said to check the printer then hit resume. I did this, I openned up the printer and the cartridge didn't come to the center and I can't get it to move. The printer worked fine last week.

press and hold the power button on the printer, remove all paper and conections (except power) and reboot. Then, open the main door and see if the cartridge comes out. If not, open the cartrag door and GENTLY pull the cartridge along the guide rails. Remove and re-insert and close the main door. THis should re-set the ink meter and it will read that there is either a low or used cartridge in the device, but this can be replaced after you are happy that you can print

You are going to have the original remote and the owner manual to do this--Universal remotes never had or will have key features the original one has.

Dymo\DLS8|printer Settings.xml access to the path is denied

Just remove PrinterSettings.xml and Settings.xml (in DataTracking folder). Next time you start the software it creates new files and the problem is gone.

Was fine started great then voltage hand went left abs light came on brake light came on dome lights came on head lights went off all panel lights went crazy blinking then jeep would not start without

Seems to be having problems with the alternator. Alternator itself can be bad, but also the voltage regulator, which sits inside the PCM (powertrain control module).
Don´t continue using with battery voltage around the 10V, because it will ruin your battery as well. Completely charge the battery with an external battery charger and let the alternator be checked out first.

It keeps saying paper jam why? it is not jammed/

Paper jams are reported under two conditions.

1) Paper reaches a sensor and never leaves it.

2) Paper does not reach the sensor in the time allotted.

A simple test is to put a mark on the next page that should be pulled from the paper tray. If the paper is pulled from the tray, you will find it inside the printer. If the paper fails to feed, it will be sitting in the tray where you marked it.

Ink heads

Removing the printheads from Epson printers is not recommended as you can successfully clean them while they are still installed and with less chance of borking the printer by forgetting where that screw went :)

To do this you need to turn the printer on, let the printhead move off the parking pads (where the printhead rests) and then immediately pull the power cord so the printer stops.

This will allow you to freely move the printhead to the far left out of the way.

You now need some ammoniated windex or a similar cleaning solution (try asking your ink supplier) compatible with inkjet printers.

Using a kitchen paper towel, carefully fold it four times and then soak this in the solution before putting the paper pad so it sits over the parking pad. Now move the printhead so it sits over the solution soaked pad and leave for 12 hours (don't turn the printer on or plug it back in).

Remove the original pad and put in a new one and leave for a further 12 hours.

Note: This approach allows the cleaning solution to wick up into the printhead nozzles and break down the clogs, returning them to solution and allowing you to clear them out. It requires time to let the solution do its work which is why it's critical you don't try to rush things..

Now, remove the pad, plug the printer back in and turn the printer on... Wait for the printer to stop it's initial routine and then run a cleaning routine and a nozzle check...

Leave the printer for a further hour just to let things settle some more and then print a new nozzle check...

You should find that that the printhead will have cleared out a great deal of clogging.

If your printhead has been clogged for some months you might want to change the pads more than once and extend the period over 2 to 3 days.

Whatever you do, don't try brushing the printhead back and forth over the soaked pad and avoid more than one cleaning cycle in a 3 hour period.

Hope that helps.

Fixed it until I Broke it I350

Good try.. If the printing, Paper Handling, Head Caps, Suctions and Cleaner were not affected, I mean you still can print correctly then it's fine. But you have to locate and fixed it to their exact position for it may cause hardware mechanism irregularities. Remember the module you have dettached before one and another. Springs usually sets on paper handling, anything that swings back and forth and least to tighthening gaps. Hope this helps.
